Gorgeous, but short straps

I haven't had a chance to use them properly yet thanks to lockdown, but I've tried them on and gone for a test walk around the house.
They're gorgeous and the cushioning at the ball of the foot is super comfy. However, they are very narrow and the strap barely got around my ankle. I don't have the most delicate ankles but I've never had a problem with shoes like this before (I put most ankle straps on at the third hole) so this was a bit disappointing because it does mean that people with larger ankles may not be able to wear this style.
