as ever with hella shoes, these are very comfortable and easy to walk in. i got a 41 rather than a 40 this time, and the difference between them isn't huge; they tighten with the laces really well, so fit my ankles snugly, which is great. the design is exquisite, and the colours are super vivid. the texture is a little different than i expected - sort of like a tightly textured faux-leather, rather than a smooth surface, but lovely all the same.
